Hindu Art Sculpture is equally influenced by religious as well as spiritual thoughts. The 4th, 5th and 6th centuries AD is noted for witnessing a terrific revival of Hinduism. This took place due to the fact that during the Gupta Empire, Hinduism became the official religion. Thus with becoming of the official religion, Hinduism flourished and thus marked the rise of numerous images of Hindu gods and goddesses. Several images and statues of respected and worshipped gods like Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu, Brahma, Krishna, Ganesha, and many others were carved in Hindu Art Sculpture. The appearance and attributions of Art Sculpture also developed during this period.
